Dr. Lisa Weinberg’s journey to dentistry started at a very young age. Her dream to become a dentist started when she was only nine years old and still living in her birthplace. Lisa had a younger brother named Mark who grew up with her there. She was born and raised in Mckeesport, Pennsylvania. That is where her love for sports began. She was a softball and tennis player, as well as an avid fan of all of Pittsburgh’s sports. She graduated from McKeesport High School in 1978.

From there she went to the University of Pittsburgh for her degree in Chemistry. While she was there she was also captain of the tennis team. She also went to Pitt’s dental school, which she graduated from in 1986. Lisa is a very proud Pitt alumni. After college and dental school Lisa owned a practice in Dormont, PA and she moved to the Greentree Road location in 1992.

Aside from dentistry Lisa has led a very full life. Lisa has four children, all of whom are adopted. She also has a dog named Cupcake, who you might see if you pay a visit. She is currently a resident of Rennerdale, PA along with her husband Pete and three of her children. When she isn’t busy being a workaholic there are a few places you may find her. She enjoys running races as well as spending time in nature. You might also find her shopping or finding different ways to spend time with her children. She is a huge Disney buff and aside from traveling there she collects Disney memorabilia. Lisa has dedicated her life to her children and to her career. She has always been extremely passionate about dentistry. Once she adopted her children she showed her compassionate side as well.
